Cookie Policy

Last Updated: December 7, 2025

This Cookie Policy explains how Ignite ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our platform at www.ignite.ar. By using our Service, you consent to the use of cookies as described in this policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website. They help the website remember your preferences, authenticate your identity, and provide a better user experience.

How Cookies Work

  1. When you visit a website, it sends a cookie to your browser
  2. Your browser stores the cookie on your device
  3. The cookie is sent back to the website on subsequent visits
  4. The website uses the cookie to recognize you and remember your settings

Cookies can be "session cookies" (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent cookies" (remain on your device for a set period).

2. Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies (Always Active)

These cookies are necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled. Without these cookies, you would not be able to log in or use Ignite.

auth-tokenESSENTIAL

PurposeMaintains your login session and authenticates requests
TypeHTTP-only, Secure, SameSite=Lax
Duration7 days (or until logout)
Security
  • HTTP-only: Cannot be accessed via JavaScript (prevents XSS attacks)
  • Secure: Only transmitted over HTTPS connections
  • SameSite: Provides CSRF protection
Why EssentialRequired for authentication. Without this cookie, you cannot access your account, create agents, or use the platform.

Technical Details: This cookie contains a JSON Web Token (JWT) with your user ID, email, and session expiration. The token is cryptographically signed to prevent tampering.

Analytics Cookies (Optional - Not Currently Used)

We do not currently use analytics or marketing cookies. If we introduce them in the future, we will:

  • Update this Cookie Policy
  • Display a cookie consent banner asking for your permission
  • Allow you to opt out of non-essential cookies
  • Provide granular cookie preferences (accept/reject by category)

Future Analytics: If we implement analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Plausible), cookies would be used to understand how users interact with our platform, identify popular features, and improve user experience. You would have the option to opt out.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Stripe (Payment Processing)

When you subscribe to Ignite, you are redirected to Stripe's checkout page. Stripe may set its own cookies to:

  • Remember your payment information (if you opt to save it)
  • Prevent fraud and enhance security
  • Process your payment securely

Stripe's cookie usage is governed by their own privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy

Google OAuth (Optional Login)

If you choose to sign in with Google, Google may set cookies during the authentication process. These cookies are governed by Google's privacy policy.

4. Managing Cookies

Browser Settings

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can:

  • View which cookies are stored on your device
  • Delete existing cookies
  • Block all cookies (or only third-party cookies)
  • Set preferences for specific websites

⚠️ Important:

If you block essential cookies (like auth-token), you will not be able to log in or use Ignite. The platform will not function without authentication cookies.

Essential Cookies (Implied Consent)

By using Ignite, you implicitly consent to the use of essential cookies necessary for authentication and platform functionality. These cookies are exempt from explicit consent requirements under GDPR and other privacy laws because they are strictly necessary for the service you requested.

Optional Cookies (Explicit Consent Required)

If we introduce optional cookies (analytics, marketing, personalization) in the future, we will:

  • Ask for your explicit consent before setting non-essential cookies
