Terms of Service

Welcome to Ignite! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Ignite platform ("Service"). By creating an account or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Ignite, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
  • You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • You have read and understood our Privacy Policy

2. Description of Service

Ignite is a no-code AI agent builder platform that enables you to:

  • Create and configure custom AI agents with system prompts and settings
  • Upload knowledge bases (PDFs, DOCX, text files) for your agents
  • Share agents via shareable links for end-user interactions
  • Manage conversations and chat history
  • Use AI models via OpenRouter/OpenAI using your own API keys (BYOK - Bring Your Own Key)

Important Note:

Ignite is a platform service. We do not provide AI models directly. You must bring your own API keys from OpenRouter or OpenAI. You are responsible for all API usage costs incurred through your keys, which are billed separately by those providers.

3. Account Registration and Security

Account Creation

To use Ignite, you must create an account by providing:

  • A valid email address
  • A secure password
  • Your name

Alternatively, you may sign up using Google OAuth. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary.

Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Not sharing your account credentials with others

⚠️ Security Warning:

Ignite will never ask you for your password via email or phone. Be cautious of phishing attempts.

4. User Content and Data Ownership

Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to:

  • AI agents you create (names, descriptions, system prompts, configurations)
  • Conversations and messages
  • Files you upload (PDFs, DOCX, knowledge base content)
  • Any other data you input into the platform

License Grant

By uploading content to Ignite, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to:

  • Store and process your content to provide the Service
  • Transmit your content to AI providers (OpenRouter/OpenAI) using your API keys
  • Display your content back to you and authorized users
  • Make backup copies for disaster recovery purposes

Important: We will never use your content to train AI models, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it for purposes other than providing the Service to you.

Content Restrictions

You agree NOT to upload, create, or transmit content that:

  • Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or defamatory
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains viruses, malware, or harmful code
  • Promotes violence, discrimination, or hatred
  • Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
  • Violates any applicable laws or regulations
  • Impersonates another person or entity

5. API Keys and Third-Party Services

Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)

Ignite operates on a "Bring Your Own Key" model. You must provide your own API keys from:

API Key Security

Ignite's Responsibilities:

  • Encrypt your API keys using AES-256-GCM encryption before storage
  • Only decrypt keys when needed to make API requests on your behalf
  • Never log or expose your full API keys

Your Responsibilities:

  • Keep your API keys confidential
  • Monitor your API usage and costs with your provider
  • Immediately revoke and replace keys if compromised
  • Comply with your AI provider's terms of service

API Usage Costs

⚠️ Important Billing Information:

You are solely responsible for all API usage costs incurred through your API keys. Ignite's subscription fee ($9 or $29/month) does NOT include AI model costs. Those are billed separately by OpenRouter, OpenAI, or your chosen provider.

Billing Terms

  • Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely via Stripe
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled
  • Billing Cycle: Monthly billing on the date you initially subscribed
  • Payment Methods: Credit/debit cards, or other methods supported by Stripe

Cancellation and Refunds

  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings or Stripe billing portal
  • Access After Cancellation: You will retain access until the end of your current billing period
  • No Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial months. Cancellation stops future billing only.
  • Free Trial: If offered, free trials may be cancelled without charge before the trial period ends

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our subscription prices. We will notify you at least 30 days in advance via email before any price increase takes effect. You may cancel your subscription before the new price applies.

7. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use Ignite to:

Engage in any illegal activities, including fraud, hacking, or distribution of illegal content

⛔ Spam and Abuse

Send spam, unsolicited messages, or conduct phishing attacks

⛔ Malware Distribution

Upload or distribute viruses, malware, ransomware, or other harmful code

⛔ Impersonation and Fraud

Impersonate another person, entity, or Ignite staff

⛔ Harassment and Hate Speech

Harass, bully, threaten, or promote violence, discrimination, or hatred

⛔ Platform Abuse

Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or access source code of the platform

⛔ Resource Abuse

Overload our systems, conduct denial-of-service attacks, or engage in automated scraping

Violations: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Acceptable Use Policy, with or without notice.

8. Service Availability

  • Uptime: We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime
  • Maintenance: We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice when possible
  • Interruptions: Service may be interrupted due to factors beyond our control (server outages, network issues, third-party failures)
  • Right to Suspend: We may suspend the Service for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or abuse

9. Intellectual Property

Ignite's Intellectual Property

The Ignite platform, including its code, design, branding, logos, and UI, is owned by Ignite and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute our platform code
  • Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without written permission
  • Create derivative works based on our platform

Your Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your content (agents, prompts, conversations, uploaded files). Ignite claims no ownership over your content.

Open Source Software

Ignite uses open-source libraries and frameworks. Their respective licenses apply to those components. See our GitHub repository for a full list of dependencies and licenses.

10. Limitation of Liability

Service Provided "AS IS"

Ignite is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ignite is NOT liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, revenue, or business opportunities
  • OpenRouter or OpenAI API failures, errors, costs, or downtime
  • Errors, inaccuracies, or offensive content generated by AI models
  • Unauthorized access to your account (unless due to our negligence)
  • Service interruptions, bugs, or technical issues
  • Third-party actions or content

Maximum Liability:

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of Ignite shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ignite and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights (intellectual property, privacy, etc.)
  • Your content or agents (including AI-generated responses)
  • Misuse of your API keys or unauthorized API charges

12. Termination

Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by:

  • Cancelling your subscription via account settings or Stripe billing portal
  • Contacting the developer through www.ignite.ar

Termination by Ignite

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if:

  • You violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
  • Your payment fails or you have an outstanding balance
  • We detect fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
  • Required by law or legal process

Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your access to the Service will be immediately revoked
  • Your data (agents, conversations, files) will be deleted within 30 days
  • You may request immediate data deletion by contacting the developer through www.ignite.ar
  • Outstanding fees remain due and payable

13. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Argentina. For users located outside Argentina, the laws of your jurisdiction may also apply.

Venue

Any legal disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Argentina, unless your local laws require otherwise.

Informal Resolution

Before filing a legal claim, we encourage you to contact the developer through www.ignite.ar to seek an informal resolution. Most disputes can be resolved quickly and amicably.

14. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes:

  • We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top
  • We will notify you via email at least 30 days before material changes take effect
  • Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance
  • If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service and cancel your subscription

15. Miscellaneous

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ignite.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

By using Ignite, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
